Stratech Systems names Raman Palaniappan as Chief Operating Officer

He worked as Country Head, Vietnam Thakral Brothers (Private) Limited.

Stratech Systems Ltd announced the appointment of Raman Palaniappan as Chief Operating Officer. As the Chief Operating Officer (COO), he will report to the Executive Chairman / CEO and is responsible for the company's day-to-day operating activities.

He will be responsible for:

1. direct company operations to meet budget and other financial goals;
2. direct short-term and long-range planning and budget development to support strategic business goals;
3. establish the performance goals, allocate resources and assess policies for senior management;
4. demonstrate successful execution of business strategies for company products and services;
5. participate in and support capital market development;
6. develop, establish and direct execution of operating policies to support overall company policies and objectives

Raman Palaniappan, 46, was the Country Head, Vietnam Thakral Brothers (Private) Limited from 2006 to 2011. Before this he was Managing Director, India of Pacnet Internet (S) Pte. Ltd. from 2003 to 2006; and Regional Marketing Manager of Nippecraft Limited from 2001 to 2003.
