Digiland International names Wu XiaoPing as Independent Director

Her experience in banking, finance, market development, and regulatory requirements augments the Board's capabilities.

The Board of Digiland International announced the appointment of Wu XiaoPing as Independent Director.

Ms Wu, 56, brings with her banking and market development experience. Her familiarity with banking, finance, market development, and regulatory requirements complements the existing Board’s capabilities, augmenting the Board. Yet, being from a different industry, she brings with her a new and fresh perspective of business, and adds diversity to the Board.

Aside from being an Independent Director, she is also a Member of Audit Committee and Chairman of Nominating and Remuneration Committees, according to a Digiland International report.

Before retiring on January this year, she was Director of Market Development, Agency Business Unit of Agricultural Bank of China from October 2005 to December 2012. Prior to this she was Branch Manager of Agricultural Bank of China, Zhengzhou City Branch, Henan Province from September 2003 to September 2005.
