You only get one shot: 60% of Singaporeans drop bad apps after first use
Three in five Singaporeans say brands are responsible for their bad app services regardless of the issue.
Bad app services are something that most Singaporeans won’t tolerate.
A study from AppDynamics found that 60% of Singaporeans would refuse to use an app again if it failed to impress after their first use.
Customer expectation is also high, with 67% of respondents saying that they won’t tolerate poor performance anymore.
Brands, regardless of the issue, get the blame for problems with using their app, 63% of Singaporeans said.
Meanwhile, 78% of Singaporeans believe its ultimately the brand’s responsibility to ensure that their app or digital service works perfectly.
This goes hand-in-hand with a growing reliance on apps and digital services, with 95% of Singaporeans saying that digital services have helped them get through the pandemic in a positive way.
The survey was conducted by Insight Avenue in June 2021 through interviews with 1,000 Singaporeans.
