Singapore’s best start-up worth a measly $1.25 billion
Top companies are valued far at $200-$400 billion.
Singapore is challenged to move higher up the valuation chain, as the recent World Startup Report revealed that it is ranked 27th among the list of 50 countries surveyed.
According to the report, Singapore’s best local start-up is gaming company Garena with a value of $1.25 billion. The second biggest company is Viki, far behind at $225 million.
The top country was the US, valued at $450 billion with China’s Alibaba second at $225 billion.
