SGX welcomes IoT sol'ns provider iWOW Technology to Catalist
It's one of the firms behind a contact tracing app in Singapore.
iWOW Technology, which specialises in integrated wireless Internet of Things (IoT) solutions, made its trading debut on Singapore Exchange (SGX) Catalist board, opening at $0.275.
As a one-stop end-to-end service provider, it designs and develops the hardware and software underlying the IoT solution, and manages the manufacturing of the product, installation, maintenance, and the operationalisation of the IoT solution.
Aside from Trace Tokens, a contact tracing app, iWOW Technology's services include include Smart Metering, Alarm Alert System, and Electronic Monitoring System.
The firm's listing raises the total count of firms included on Catalist to 220. The company will also add to SGX technology cluster, which has nearly 80 firms with combined market capitalisation of around S$78b.
Mohamed Nasser Ismail, global head of equity capital markets of SGX Group, said the listing will allow investors to tap on new technological breakthroughs, urbanisation and emergence of smart cities, amongst others.
