SGX-listed Sinarmas Land Limited launches investment arm for startups

It will fund potential digital startups in Indonesia.

SGX-listed property developer Sinarmas Land Limited has launched an investment arm to fund potential digital startups in Indonesia and support technological innovation in the country.

Called Living Lab Ventures, the investment firm will focus on three main technological aspects: Smart Technologies, Digital Life, and Mobility.

Another feature of the investment firm is the Living Lab X, a laboratory that will incubate and develop local startup companies.

“Living Lab X offers partnerships with other related companies, as well as providing pilot testing for initial implementation trials. In addition, Living Lab will support collaboration and provide mentoring for startup leaders in every process of their company’s development,” the developer said.

Living Lab Ventures will be led by Mulyawan Gani as Managing Partner and Bayu Seto as Partner.

“Indonesia’s smart city exponential growth potentials are increasingly being noticed. To create a conducive digital lifestyle, we need to enable people with innovative and adaptive technologies that go along with the dynamic needs of the community itself,” Gani said.
