Fujitsu Asia to ‘reimagine' Singapore office
The firm would offer flexible working options for employees starting 2021.
IT-based business solutions provider Fujitsu Asia has revealed plan to reconstruct its office in Singapore to “support smart working and diverse working styles,” according to a media release.
“To future-proof the company, the holistic workplace transformation will see a shift in areas including work, allowance, and staff welfare development, away from the traditional assumption that employees commute to designated offices every day,” Fujitsu said. The changes would apply to more than 500 staff members in the Singapore office.
Beginning 2021, the firm would introduce flexible working options for all employees in Singapore, allowing them to work from home up to 90% of the time. All full-time employees would also receive a one-time allowance of $1,000.
Moreover, the existing office space would be redesigned based on employee feedback as well as expert advice to “support greater collaboration, enable productivity and accommodate diverse work styles,” Fujitsu said.
The firm would also streamline workflow and improve IT support, collaboration, and project approvals.
