Central Provident Fund (CPF) nominations can now be made online, making it more convenient and secure for members to authorise who would inherit their CPF savings.
With the previous procedure, CPF members had to sign a hardcopy form in the presence of two witnesses.
To make an online nomination, the CPF member and two appointed witnesses would only need to login using their SingPass and fill out an online form.
After providing particulars such as NRIC and contact information online, the witnesses will be able to confirm the member's intention to make the nomination via email or sms.

Digital manufacturing corporate lab HP-NTU launched six new SkillsFuture short courses related to 3D to train and upskill Singaporeans in additive manufacturing and digital design.
The short courses are payable with SkillsFuture credits, and include training on the fundamentals of additive manufacturing, digital product designs, data management as well as automation, user experience, and business models.
Through these courses, the corporate lab aims to train about 120 working professionals per year.
The research partnership between NTU, HP Inc. and the National Research Foundation Singapore (NRF), was first announced in October 2018.

Multigenerational families who travel to Southeast Asia are observed to have evolving preferences in their holiday trips, said travel specialists at the Asean Tourism Forum (ATF) 2020.
When in the past, family groups from the western markets tend to favour separate activities for the young and elderly members, families are now seen to prioritise experiences that can be enjoyed together.
Cruises, safari tours and theme parks are on the top of these travellers’ list, and Zaki named Singapore, together with Bangkok and Malaysia are the destinations with the richest multigenerational family offerings, according to Mohammad Zaki, president of US-based RZ Travels.
Direct services between the US and Singapore by Singapore Airlines and United Airlines have contributed to the rise in such business opportunities, Zaki added.
