Alibaba Cloud Computing to launch new HQ, data center in Singapore

It will be unveiled in early September.

Alibaba Group’s cloud computing arm--known as Aliyun--will establish a new data centre and headquarters in Singapore.

The data centre is scheduled to be launched in early September and will be Aliyun’s seventh facility globally. The other facilities are in Beijing, Hangzhou, Qingdao, Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and Silicon Valley.

Aliyun will also establish its headquarters for overseas business here. The Singapore cloud data center will cater to the cloud computing needs of businesses investing.
