Singapore Press Holdings reveals STProperty search site

Formerly named ST701 Property, the site now offers “Room Rental” section for the rental market.

In a release, Singapore Press Holdings' online classifieds portal ST701 unveils its new property search site for property seekers and realtors with improved functionalities.

Previously known as ST701 Property, SPH's online property portal is now called STProperty to lend a more direct reflection of the property search function. The domain name has also been changed to reflect the new brand – www.STProperty.sg.

Conceptualised to match agents to property owners and seekers effectively, visitors will have access to an up-to-date database of resources including buy-sell-rent guides and credible news articles mainly from The Straits Times and The Business Times.

The new site now offers insights on market trends and analysis. There will be up-to-date historical transacted prices which users can use to do their research.

In addition, the portal is equipped with enhanced tools such as loan and affordability calculators to help users make sound property purchasing decisions. There is a new “Room Rental” section to meet the growing needs of the rental market.

Since its soft launch in April, STProperty has amassed *4 million page views, *1 million visitors to the website every month and more than 40,000 fans (up from 400 when it first started) on Facebook. The latter figure qualifies STProperty as the property site with the largest fan base.

STProperty has also tied up with some of the top real estate agencies like ERA, OrangeTee, HSR, Knight Frank, to publish exclusive property listings on the site. Users can now browse more than 84,000 properties, including private residential, HDB, room rental plus industrial and commercial properties.
