NTT's Biz Hosting Global to launch in Singapore

Launching is NTT’s response to requests from multinational companies to consolidate their servers in Singapore.

NTT Communications (NTT Com) announced on Wednesday that Biz Hosting Global, an international virtual hosting service offered in NTT Com’s BizCITY suite of virtual enterprise services accessible securely from anyplace at anytime, will be launched in Singapore in July.

The move comes in response to requests from multinational companies operating in Asia who wish to consolidate their servers in Singapore. Launched in January of this year, the service currently is available in Hong Kong, the United States and Europe, as well as Japan, according to a NTT Com report.

NTT Com also announced on Wednesday that Biz Hosting Global and Biz Hosting Enterprise, a cloud-based virtual hosting service in Japan, will offer seamless international interconnection for convenient one-stop management, operation and maintenance. Companies will be able to use a dedicated website for efficient, cost-saving, one-stop management for virtual servers located in any region, including virtual server monitoring, boot up/shutdown and resource allocation.

Biz Hosting Global and Biz Hosting Enterprise will be available under one convenient service contract. Server monitoring, maintenance and configuration support will be available both in English and Japanese.

Both services will be demonstrated at the Interop Tokyo 2010 trade show at the Makuhari Messe exhibition complex near Tokyo from June 9 to 11.
