NeraTel clinches $14.9m worth of contracts
The deals are for its network and wireless infrastructure segments.
Singapore-listed Nera Telecommunications Ltd (NeraTel) won $14.9m worth of contracts for its network infrastructure and wireless infrastructure business segments.
According to a press release, a major Philippine government body awarded a $7m deal to NeraTel's network infrastructure segment. The company will supply, install, upgrade and provide maintenance to information system communication network equipment.
It is poised to bring the orders of the segment up to $70m.
Meanwhile, North African telecommunications operators awarded a $7.9m contract to the wireless infrastructure network segment to facilitate transmission equipment in the former's rollout of a 4G network.
From this contract, the segment's orders will be boosted to $40m.
According to NeraTel chief executive officer Beck Tong Hong, "Coupled with other contracts won this year, these latest contract wins will lift our total order in-take to more than S$120.0 million, as we continue to leverage on our strengths and track record to pursue growth in both segments to enhance shareholder value."
The contracts are not expected to largely affect Neratel's performance for the current financial year.
