AWS and KPMG to spice up SBR’s webinar on cloud technology

Both companies' speakers will share how vital the cloud is in a modern world.

Singapore Business Review has joined forces with industry veterans AWS and KPMG on its latest webinar Moving Forward: How to modernise your business through cloud technology.

With technological advancements leading to shifts in the business environment, leveraging technology is now critical for a business’ success. Cloud technology is one of the most vital, especially in capital markets, in the face of evolving business needs and the drive for growth.

Headlining from AWS is Head of FSI, ASEAN Peter Murray will be one of the speakers of the webinars. Banking on his expertise with working with customers from across all segments, shed some light on what key role the cloud plays in delivering agility, security and elasticity for customers

Also joining him as speaker from AWS is Financial Services Specialist Aarti Shah. She has been with AWS for 18 months and helps accelerate cloud adoption amongst Asia financial services customers by combining business and strategic insights with technology solutions. Aarti has 12 years of experience in Financial Services with Morgan Stanley, Axis Bank and Ernst & Young doing investment research, project finance, corporate banking and consulting.

Sharing his over 20 years of experience, Partner at KPMG Singapore Allwyn Barreto will join our two speakers. Allwyn has overseen business strategy and transformation projects for financial institutions including commercial banks, asset managers, insurers and the regulators in the region. Prior to KPMG, Allwyn was the Regional Sales Director in Asia for a large Asset Management house where he developed the institution-level sales and operational framework to service clients in Asia and worked alongside the fund teams to offer customized global equity and fixed income solutions to institutional clients.

Meanwhile, joining our panel is Senior Director of Technology and Cybersecurity at Investment Company Institute Peter Salmon.

The 75-minutes webinar will also explain how to improve your cash flow, cut cost and manage your assets using cloud-based solutions.

After hearing from the panel of industry experts, the virtual stage will open for an engaging panel discussion moderated by Singapore Business Review’s very own Managing Editor Paul Howell . They’ll take live questions from the audience and delve deeper into each of their areas of expertise
