Eastgate Technology appoints Teo Eng Thian as Executive Director

He was former executive director of Sin Hong Hardware.

According to an SGX release, Eastgate Technology's Nominating Committee has reviewed Mr Teo Eng Thian’s qualification and experiences and has recommended to the Board the appointment of Mr Teo Eng Thian as an Executive Director of the Company. The Board has accepted the recommendation of the Nomination Committee and approved his appointment.

Mr Teo Eng Thian was appointed an executive director of Sin Hong Hardware Pte Ltd (“Sin Hong”), a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company, on 8 September 2005. He is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Sin Hong overseeing the manufacturing operation and supply chain for Sin Hong and its subsidiaries in Singapore. He was appointed a director of GD Tech (H.K.) Private Co., Limited (“GD Tech”), a subsidiary of the Company, on 28 March 2011. He also sits on the board of all Sin Hong’s subsidiaries and one of the subsidiaries of GD Tech.
