Workers want these three tasks handled by AI automation

It includes data analysis, creating datasets, and addressing IT challenges.

Whilst AI signals job displacement or replacement, a study showed that almost seven in 10 (69%) Singaporean workers said automation can address their burnout and enhance job fulfillment.

A UiPath-commissioned study, which polled 581 Singaporean workers found that workers are most interested in automating these tasks: analysing data (58%); inputting data/creating datasets (54%); and resolving IT/technical issues (50%).

Regardless of job role, more than half of workers surveyed are interested in becoming citizen developers to create new automation that could enhance their work/life balance.

Above 50% of all Singaporean workers across generations are receptive to the potential of AI-powered automation in helping them at work.

Generation Z (85%), Millennial (72%), Generation X (65%), and Baby Boomer (57%) workers polled said automation would help them improve their jobs.

UiPath collaborated with Researchscape to conduct this research through a March 2023 online survey. Over 6,000 respondents, 2% from Singapore, were polled in the survey.
