What brands will Singaporeans be proud to work for?
Singaporeans seem to like flying, based on this study's findings.
Three in five Singaporeans (62.5) said that they will be proud to work for Singapore Airlines, according to a study by market research firm YouGov. This makes the national carrier the top brand Singaporeans would be proud to be affiliated with.
“For the second year running, Singapore Airlines comes out on top as the brand Singaporeans would be proudest to work for,” Ervin Ha, head of data products at YouGov APAC, said.
Second best is Changi Airport which garnered a score of 45 for the reputation scores in the YouGov Brand Index.

Meanwhile, digital brands also rounded up the top five as tech giant Google comes third (44.4), Apple clinched the fourth place (42.0), and video sharing platform YouTube takes fifth spot (40.5). Meanwhile, social network Facebook is in sixth spot (38.8), subscription video-on-demand service Netflix comes seventh (36.7), messaging platform WhatsApp takes eighth (35.7), DBS at ninth spot (35.5) and Korean electronics manufacturer Samsung rounds out the top ten (34.8).
The study also revealed the brands that have seen the biggest increase in their scores, topped by the MRT which saw its score increase by +20.9 points over the past twelve months. It is followed by Netflix in second (up +6.5 points) and Chinese electronics manufacturer Huawei in third (up +6.1).
