Three in five Singaporeans willing to undergo reskilling for new job roles
Older Singaporeans are the most willing to undergo retraining.
Three in five Singaporeans are willing to retrain for new jobs according to a study by JobStreet.
The findings revealed that out of the 62% of respondents willing to retrain under any case, the most willing were from the public sector with 69%. They are followed by 68% from travel and tourism, 66% from insurance, and 64% from media industries.
Unlike other countries, Singaporeans' willingness to undergo retraining goes up with age. Those aged 61 and above are the most willing to retrain in any case with 67% saying they are willing to undergo reskilling.
The study surveyed 209,000 participants across 190 countries with 6,280 respondents from Singapore.
