SMF and PIS AP ink MOU to attract maritime talent

SMF will promote development programmes hosted by PIS AP.

The Singapore Maritime Foundation (SMF) and Pertamina International Shipping Asia Pacific (PIS AP) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) aimed at attracting more young people to the maritime industry.

Under the MOU, PIS AP will provide one MaritimeONE Scholarship and two MaritimeONE Internships, and sponsor prizes for one MaritimeONE Case Competition annually from 2024 to 2028.

Meanwhile, SMF will offer secretariat support to organise and promote these programmes to the talent pool.
