Singapore Polytechnic boosts creative and community sector talent via partnerships

The institution will sign more MOUs with industry partners on 8 March.

Singapore Polytechnic (SP), in celebration of its 70th anniversary, strengthens industry partnerships to support the next generation of professionals in the creative and community service sectors.

This initiative was forged through MOUs with various key partners. This includes the renewal of SP’s MOU with Mediacorp to cultivate the next wave of media professionals. 

The MOU will also facilitate the establishment of SP MAD’s youth-centric Digital Content Creation Agency named “Re/Define,” in partnership with Mediacorp’s You Got Watch and Clarity.

In addition, SP also forged alliances with the National Heritage Board, Kingsmen Creatives, and De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde in the Philippines to provide SP students with more opportunities.

More MOUs will be inked at the SP 70th Anniversary Music Festival on 8 March including MOUs with *SCAPE, SHINE Children and Youth Services, and YouthHarmony.

“The ever-evolving landscape of the creative and community care sectors demand finesse from our students, ensuring they remain adaptable and industry-ready. Through our alliances with Mediacorp and other strategic partners, we aim to cultivate a pipeline of creative, passionate, and industrysavvy talents poised to navigate the dynamic challenges of the industry,” Soh Wai Wah, Principal and CEO of Singapore Polytechnic said.
