Singapore firms suffer from snooping workers
94% admit their employees access unnecessary information.
About 94% of Singapore employers said their employees try to access information that is not necessary for their day-to-day work, identity management firm One Identity revealed.
According to its study, 16% of employers said this behaviour happens frequently.
Nearly half or 47% of IT professionals in the country also admitted to looking for sensitive information about their company's performance.
On a global scale, 44% of technology employees admit to this behaviour, compared to 36% in financial services, 31% in manufacturing, and 21% in healthcare.
