Remote, hybrid work strains manager ties
One in four workers has a poor relationship with their managers.
Remote and hybrid work arrangements are affecting employee-manager relationships, ADP reported.
According to ADP’s People At Work survey, more employees working remotely (37%) or hybrid (27%) have poor relationships with their managers than on-site staff (21%).
Setting aside the aspect of work setup, one in four Singaporeans (24%) expressed having poor relationships with their managers, higher than the Asia Pacific average of 11%
Compared to 2022, the percentage of workers with poor relationships with their managers increased by 6%.
