MOE boosts school tech with better network coverage and cloud storage
The move will enable more immersive, interactive learning, said the ministry.
The Ministry of Education (MOE) has introduced measures to enhance school infrastructure, including better network coverage and increased cloud storage for teachers and students.
The ministry said the upgrading of networks and cloud storage “can support and enhance collaborations, and allow for more immersive and interactive learning experiences, such as through the use of Virtual and Augmented Reality.”
In his National Day Rally speech, Prime Minister Lawrence Wong also vowed to enhance the learning environment and infrastructure across schools in Singapore.
“We will make better use of technology for learning,” he said.
