Microsoft unveils new initiatives to accelerate AI development in Singapore
The initiatives will benefit businesses and employees in key industries in Singapore.
Microsoft launched the Microsoft AI Pinnacle Programme to start with five pioneering organisations including Certis, HTX, Mediacorp, Seatrium, and Synapxe to create AI solutions that will drive transformation for organizations and key industry sectors.
The programme will study AI use cases with clear business ROI and outcomes and deliver business impact.
It will also establish an AI Center of Capabilities (CoC) and provide comprehensive training programs to accelerate AI enterprise skilling.
This is in line with Microsoft’s aim to advance AI capabilities for businesses and employees in Singapore by introducing new initiatives with SkillsFuture and NTUC LearningHub.
Microsoft’s collaboration with SkillsFuture will benefit 2,000 SMEs in 3 years by equipping them with AI expertise.
Meanwhile, Microsoft and NTUC LearningHub will train up to 100,000 NTUC members to enhance their AI literacy.
In addition, Microsoft will also collaborate with EnterpriseSG and IMDA to enable SMEs to accelerate AI adoption.
Microsoft will also partner with the Institute for Adult Learning (IAL) to co-develop and test new AI tools and methodologies to enhance the learning experiences of adult learners.
