Massive firms are about to get even larger, says manpower survey
More large businesses are planning to expand their workforce.
Apparently, gigantic businesses can never have enough workers as firms that have 250 or more employees are planning to hire even more employees.
According to the Manpower Employment Outlook survey by the Manpower Group, large-size employers report the strongest hiring prospects with a net employment outlook of 29%.
“Elsewhere, Outlooks of +16% and +12% are reported for the Medium- and Small-size categories, respectively, while the Outlook for Micro employers stands at +7%,” the survey said.
Meanwhile, large firms have also been hiring more than they did last year, registering 8 percentage points stronger.
“Meanwhile, hiring plans are unchanged for Medium-size firms and remain relatively stable elsewhere. Year-over-year, employers report weaker hiring intentions in three of the four organization size categories,” the survey said.
“The most noteworthy declines of 9 and 8 percentage points are reported by Medium- and Large-size employers, respectively. The Outlook for Small employers is 4 percentage points weaker, while Micro-size employers report no change,” the survey added.
