Executive MBA programmes by NUS, SMU moved up in Financial Times' global ranking
Unfortunately, Nanyang Business School's EMBA slipped on the list.
Executive MBA (EMBA) programmes being offered by two local universities in Singapore improved their rankings in the recently released Financial Times' 100 best EMBA programmes.
The National University of Singapore (NUS) Business School's Asia-Pacific EMBA programme rose to 17th from previously 25th.
Its double-degree Executive MBA programme with the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA), however, slipped one spot to 5th.
The SMU Lee Kong Chian School of Business (LKCSB), meanwhile, has been ranked 32nd globally, up four places from 36th position last year.
This is the second time that LKCSB made the top 100, in only its second year of qualifying for the ranking, since its Executive MBA (EMBA) programme was set up five years ago.
NTU's Nanyang Business School's EMBA, however, slipped eight spots to occupy the 18th spot.
The programmes which made the list were assessed based on career progress of alumni, diversity of faculty and students, and faculty-related idea generation.
