EnterpriseSG launches decarbonisation, sustainable finance courses
The new courses will begin this April.
Enterprise Singapore (EnterpriseSG) launched two new courses on decarbonisation and sustainable finance for businesses as part of its Enterprise Sustainability Programme (ESP) initiatives.
The Decarbonisation Course will teach business leaders about carbon accounting, decarbonisation targets and plans, and carbon disclosures and reporting through tools and resources such as carbon calculators.
The Sustainable Finance Course will provide information on sustainable finance instruments available to local companies, such as green loans, sustainability-linked loans, and impact investments.

These new courses will have twenty runs each year starting this April. EnterpriseSG will pay 70% of the fees for up to three participants per eligible enterprise or trade association and chamber for each course type.
In addition to the new courses, EnterpriseSG will work with Accenture, Eco-Business, and Deloitte Singapore to provide more ESP Foundational Courses.
They will also develop playbooks to provide insights into sector-specific opportunities and sustainability topics.
For Geoffrey Yeo, EnterpriseSG's Assistant CEO for Sustainability and Enterprise Finance, the new courses will "equip companies with a better understanding of how they can decarbonise their operations and tap sustainable finance to take their business to the next level."
