Singapore’s Minister for Manpower, Josephine Teo has revealed that the Ministry is examining the impact of workplace mental health issues on the local workforce.

A pilot of web-based psychosocial assessment tool iWorkHealth has been initiated. The tool will help employers and their employees to identify workplace stressors.

“The tool serves to raise awareness of workplace stressors and provide recommendations on areas where employers can work on to improve the mental well-being of their employees,” said Teo.

Fintech startup Revolut has launched its latest feature which allows customers to add their Revolut cards to Google Pay, said in a company statement. The feature is currently limited to Singaporean users.

By integrating the Revolut Visa Card on Google Pay, the company said that it aims to create an easier process of transaction for its users.

In order to use the feature, users will have to add their Revolut card to their Google Account and can choose to Google Pay at checkout.

The UK-based company has already launched a variety of different features since its debut in Singapore. The most recent one was the Revolut metal card, which is three times lighter in weight than a regular card.

One-stop mortgage brokering platform Mortgage Master has raised $522,500 in a seed funding round via crowdfunding platform FundedHere. The participants in the round included former president of Westpac International and founder of S Cube Capital Bala Swaminathan and chairman of Tembusu Partners Andy Lim.

The company managed to close the funding in eight days via the FundedHere platform, according to co-founder David Baey in an interview with e27.

The newly added capital will be used to drive expansion, specifically product development, in order to scale the platform better.
