8 in 10 Singapore employees actively seek career advice
Males are more likely to reach out to specialists.
Amongst regional peers Hong Kong and Malaysia, Singaporean employees are the most likely to seek career advice from a specialist with 83% doing so.
According to Randstad’s Workmonitor, Singapore’s average is 37% higher than the global average which indicates high competitiveness as a workforce.
The study noted that males and younger employees are more likely to reach out to specialists for career advice as 84% of men and the 18-34 age group have stated their need for professional career help.
Additionally, 80% of women and 81% of the 35-54 age group are likely seek career advice.
