8 in 10 senior leaders to switch jobs in 2 years

They are dissatisfied with their role and have a lack of confidence in their employer.

The majority of senior executives in the Lion City seek to resign from their organisations in the next two years because of dissatisfaction with their job roles and lack of confidence in their employer, a 2022 KellyOCG Global Workforce Report showed.

The study also indicated that like their global counterparts, Singapore firms are not fast enough to push for diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) as well as support the mental health wellness of their employees.

About 54% of 67 senior managers in the Lion City said DEI strategies only pay lip service to support talent from underrepresented groups but do not provide helpful support in practice.

Whilst only almost two in 10 senior managers confirmed that they have a clear process to report discrimination at work, which is against the global rate of 25% and Asian rate of 27%.

Reacting to this, KellyOCG Chief Tammy Browning said their research also showed that senior leaders demand more from their employers whilst there is talent demand for a life-work shift.

KellyOCG, the outsourcing and consulting business of Kelly, created the report to identify greatest talent woes and risks facing organisations amidst the COVID-19 crisis.

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source. Lorem Ipsum comes from sections 1.10.32 and 1.10.33 of "de Finibus Bonorum et Malorum" (The Extremes of Good and Evil) by Cicero, written in 45 BC. This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
