6 in 10 Singaporeans are happier after tying the knot: survey
As 77% claim they're happier after becoming parents.
According to a happiness poll by NTUC's family development unit, U Family, 61% of almost 6,000 Singapore respondents said they are happy.
62% said that the contributing factor to happiness is getting married while 77% claimed that they are happier after they became parents.
Respondents also cited supportive network as happiness factors. 63% said they have a network of supportive family members and relatives.
70% of those surveyed said they have spouses who play an active role in the family.
