42% of local workers want hybrid office-home working options: study
Meanwhile, 14% wish to work from home all the time.
More than four in 10 (42%) of Singaporean workers prefer a hybrid of working at home and at the office post-pandemic, whilst 14% want to work from home all the time, a recent study by HR services leader Randstad (Singapore) revealed.
Moreover, 19% of respondents want flexible working hours, whilst 11% prefer to work from home “whenever they want.”
“Companies will need to start redesigning their workforce structure to incorporate flexible work arrangements whilst retaining its organisational culture, staff engagement, and work productivity,” the study said.
Meanwhile, other initiatives workers expect from their employers post-pandemic are: salary protection (61%), training opportunities (44%), health policies and safety protocols (39%), job security (37%), and health insurance (34%).
The survey was conducted last October 2020 in 34 markets worldwide, with a minimum of 400 respondents from each.
