4 key areas that will prepare 3,000 ITE students for workforce transition

Prudential Singapore and the Institute of Technical Education (ITE) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to provide 3,000 students with courses designed to make them workforce-ready, focusing on four pivotal areas: automation, financial literacy, generative AI, and design thinking.

This partnership, underpinned by Prudential's Talent Engagement Ecosystem (TEE-Up), will run for over three years.

The MOU encompasses internships and a mentorship programme, as well as industry talks, learning journeys, and opportunities for students to engage in real-world applications of their knowledge through internships and hackathons.

The students will have access to over 300 video resources across social media, featuring professional insights, productivity hacks, and entrepreneurial success stories.

Since its pilot launch in 2022, TEE-Up has expanded its reach, collaborating with five polytechnics in Singapore to further prepare students for the workforce. This has involved pairing students with over 120 industry mentors from diverse sectors.

The signing event saw the participation of nearly 90 stakeholders from ITE, Polytechnics, Prudential, and the industry.
