WDA launches $3m liefelong learning seed fund

It targets community-led learning initiatives.

The Lifelong Learning Council (LLC), with the support of the Singapore Workforce Development Agency (WDA), has opened the $3 million LearnSG Seed Fund to groups of individuals, schools, organisations and community groups, in order to grow community-led learning initiatives.

Funding is applicable for small-scale and large-scale community projects, at up to 90 per cent of the qualifying costs, capped at $50,000, whichever is lower. Good learning ideas or projects may be adopted and scaled up at the national level.

The LearnSG Seed Fund aims to encourage ground-up participation and ownership by supporting groups of individuals, schools, organisations and community groups in creating and implementing projects that strengthen lifelong learning in the community. The fund is a key initiative by the LLC to support the SkillsFuture thrust of fostering a culture that supports and celebrates lifelong learning
