Edutech firm LingoAce raises $8.06m in Series A+ funding round

The funding round was led by Sequoia Capital India.

Singapore-based online language learning platform LingoAce has successfully raised $8.06m (US$6m) in its Series A+ funding round, led by Sequoia Capital India and returning investor Shunwei Capital.

The Series A+ round follows its Series A round of $9.40m (US$7m), led by Shunwei Capital in June this year.

“LingoAce’s uniquely personalised, interactive and effective curriculum distinguishes itself from other online learning platforms,” the edutech firm said in a media release. “Targeted at students aged four to 15 years, the platform enables its stringently selected professional Chinese teachers to deliver lesson plans real-time across physical borders in one-to-one and small group classes.”

The platform utilises multimedia, gamification features as well as AI-powered tools. To date, it has delivered lessons to over 100,000 students from 80 countries.

With more than 2,000 certified teachers and 420 employees globally, LingoAce is headquartered in Singapore and has offices in Beijing, Wuhan, and Los Angeles.

This book is a treatise on the theory of ethics, very popular during the Renaissance. The first line of Lorem Ipsum, "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet..", comes from a line in section 1.10.32.
