LinkedIn's Top Skills 2016 rankings show that this job remains the most in demand for two years in a row, both globally and in Singapore.

Rounding up the top 10 skills in Singapore are SEO/SEM Marketing, Public Policy and International Relations, Statistical Analysis and Data Mining, Corporate Law and Governance, Marketing Campaign Management, Algorithm Design, Network and Information Security, Foreign Language Translation and Storage Systems and Management.

The list is generated form LinkedIn data, and reflects current trends in Singapore's job market.

In the global arena, technical skills dominated the global list this year. Web architecture and development framework, and user interface design, each jumped over five spots.

Marketing-related skills seem to have fallen in importance, with SEO/SEM marketing sliding five places to the ninth spot, and marketing campaign management excluded at the top ten from previously being ranked third last year.
