Banyan Tree Holdings appoints Tham Kui Seng as Director

Mr Tham is also appointed as a member of the Audit & Risk and Nominating & Remuneration Committee.

The Board of Banyan Tree Holdings has accepted the recommendation of the Nominating & Remuneration Committee (“NRC”) of Banyan Tree Holdings Limited ("BTH") which has reviewed Mr Tham Kui Seng's qualifications and experience, and approved the appointment of Mr Tham as a Director of BTH.

Pursuant to BTH's Articles of Association, Mr Tham is subject to retirement and may stand for re-election at the next Annual General Meeting of BTH, according to a Banyan Tree Holdings report.

Mr Tham, 54, served as Director of listed companies from 2009 to present. Before this, he was Chief Corporate Officer of Capitaland Limited from 2002 to 2008 and Chief Executive Officer of Capitaland Residential Limited from 2000 to 2005.
