Banyan Tree Holdings appoints Chan Heng Wing as Director

He will also be a member of Audit & Risk and Nominating & Remuneration Committees.

The Board of Banyan Tree Holdings announced the appointment of Chan Heng Wing as Director. The Board has accepted the recommendation of the Nominating & Remuneration Committee (“NRC”) of Banyan Tree Holdings Limited ("BTH") which has reviewed Mr Chan Heng Wing's qualifications and experience, and approved the appointment of Mr Chan as a Director of BTH. Mr Chan is also appointed as a member of the Audit & Risk Committee ("ARC") and the NRC. Pursuant to BTH's Articles of Association, Mr Chan is subject to retirement and may stand for re-election at the next Annual General Meeting of BTH.

Mr Chan, 66, is also High Commissioner to the People's Republic of Bangladesh from Jan 2012 to present. Before this, he was a Managing Director for International Relations, Temasek International from July 2010 to Oct 2011 and Chief Representative in China of Temasek Holdings from Mar 2008 to Jul 2010.
