Tourist arrivals down 3.1% to 15.1 million in 2014

Tourist arrivals in Singapore dropped 3.1% to 15.1 million visitors in 2014, data from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) revealed today.
The number of visitors from Mainland China, Singapore's biggest tourism market, plunged 24.2% year-on-year to 1.7 million tourists.
The number of tourists from Southeast Asia also declined, led by fewer visitors from Brunei, Indonesia, Malaysia, and the Philippines.
