Singapore tops the list of safest cities for tourists: Forbes
Singapore received the top travel safety rating and the lowest natural disaster risk.
Singapore is the safest city for tourists, Forbes Advisor reported.
Forbes Advisor ranked 60 countries based on key metrics including crime risk, personal security risk, health security risk, infrastructure security risk, and digital security risk. The overall base score ranges from zero to 100, with zero being the safest and 100 being the riskiest.
Singapore scored zero out of 100 and received the best travel safety rating from the State Department. It also recorded the lowest natural disaster risk.
The country also had the lowest health, digital, and infrastructure security risks. Following Singapore were Tokyo, Japan, and Toronto, Canada, with scores of 10.72 and 13.6, respectively.
On the flip side, Caracas, Venezuela; Karachi, Pakistan; and Yangon, Myanmar, were the riskiest cities with scores of 100, 93.12, and 91.67.
