Singapore is 4th most preferred travel destination in APAC

It ranked behind Hong Kong.

The Lion City remains one of the most preferred travel destinations in the Asia-Pacific region, data from Mastercard's Travel Industry Trends report showed.

According to the report, Singapore saw a 118.36% increase in leisure flight bookings in 2019.

Meanwhile, Singapore's tourism and retail industries have been benefiting from China's reopening.

Based on the report, the tourism spending of Mainland China travellers on luxury and experiences in Singapore rose 22.96% a 150.03% from 2019, respectively.
