Chart of the Day: Visitor arrivals to SG edged down to 1.31 million in August
Overnight visitors declined by 1.06 million on a yearly basis.
The total number of visitors that arrived in Singapore slightly declined to 1.31 million in August 2023 from 1.42 million in July, data from the Singapore Tourism Board (STB) showed.
On a yearly basis, visitor arrivals grew 79.6% in August 2023. The data also showed that 1.06 million overnight visitors went down to Singapore in August 2023 compared to a month before with 1.10 million overnight visitors.
The average length of stay of tourists was four days, which is a 17.8% decline from a year before.
