Mercatus Healthcare appoints Dr Gobaind Naidu Haridass as COO

He will drive international expansion for Pellucid Networks and Attune Technologies.

Mercatus Healthcare Group announced the appointment of Dr. Gobaind Naidu Haridass as its Chief Operations Officer to strengthen the Group’s operational capabilities and underpin the international expansion.

Mercatus Healthcare Group offers a portfolio of advanced technology products and services which enable dramatic cost reductions in the delivery of healthcare solutions. Attune’s Cloud based Health Information System and Pellucid’s Tele Radiology platform have both been tried and tested for robustness, functionality, speed of access, and in the diverse healthcare environments of India and Singapore. The Group anticipates explosive growth over the next 3 years from its current base of over 1,200,000 patient records and monthly throughput of 30,000 imaging studies.

Dr. Gobaind began his career with Nortel Networks in USA. More recently he has been responsible for deploying Hospital Information System in Asia. He holds a Masters in Communication from New York City University and a Doctorate in Operations Management from Purdue University.
