IHH Healthcare SG opens first transitional care facility TCF@East

The group will operate it in collaboration with PanCare Medical Clinic.

IHH Healthcare Singapore (IHH SG) will open TCF@East, its first transitional care facility (TCF) along Upper Changi Road North.

The upcoming facility will feature a 200-bed capacity and will consist of two refurbished buildings and a main ward wing.

Moreover, IHH SG will operate it in partnership with PanCare Medical Clinic group, which also runs another TCF under the Ministry of Health (MOH).

"This venture brings us out of our traditional strengths in primary and quaternary care, into a new and less familiar step-down care landscape,” IHH SG CEO, Peter Chow, said.

"Our partnership with PanCare, who comes with deep experience and expertise in managing TCFs, forms an important ecosystem of care that will provide good seamless care to our patients,” Chow added.

TCF@East is anticipated to admit its first line of patients by January 2025.
