Perennial Real Estate Holdings opens Chengdu medical-retail hub

90% of the development is already occupied by both healthcare and retail tenants.

Perennial Real Estate Holdings (Perennial) opened its first one-stop medical, healthcare, and retail development in Chengdu, the Perennial International Health and Medical Hub (PIHMH), with over 90% committed occupancy.

According to an announcement, PIHMH is part of the Chengdu East HSR Integrated Development which has been positioned as Perennial’s signature showcase of its integrated real estate and healthcare business model in the country.

PIHMH is positioned to serve the residents in Chengdu and the neighbouring cities, and the wider community in the Sichuan province. It is directly connected to the Chengdu East HSR Station, one of the eight largest HSR transportation hubs in China serving approximately 200,000 passengers daily.

The development spans over 280,000 sqm and has more than 50% of its GFA anchored by seven local and international medical tenants. The anchor and mini anchor medical tenants include Gleneagles Chengdu Hospital, Care Alliance Rehabilitation Hospital of Chengdu, Sichuan Integrative Medicine Hospital International Traditional Chinese Medicine Centre (TCM), Perennial International Specialist Medical Centre, BGI Perennial Genomics Diagnostic Imaging Centre, St. Stamford Plastic Surgery and Aesthetic Hospital and Aidigong Maternal and Child Health Centre.

To-date, all the medical tenants have commenced operations, except for Gleneagles Parkway Hospital which is expected to commence operations in the second half of 2018.

Anchor retail tenants at PIHMH include renowned retailers Kidswant, Jenny@Eataly supermarket, Mirako Fitness, and Highwave Sports. Other speciality tenants include lifestyle brands such as Starbucks, Watsons, and Winshare bookstore.

The development is expected to serve the residents at the upcoming 2,000-bed Chengdu Xiehe International Eldercare and Retirement Home.

A NOTE FROM SINGAPORE BUSINESS REVIEW

You're the reader we write for. You're also the person our partners want to reach.

If that sentence describes you — a founder, a C-suite, someone whose attention companies pay good money for — then you already understand why SBR works. We've spent twenty years earning the trust of readers exactly like you. Which is exactly what makes this an interesting place for your company to show up, too.

The ways it can show up are broader than most people assume — thought leadership articles, sponsored content, industry summits across Southeast Asia, regional awards programmes, podcasts, and media placements in print and digital. The right fit depends on what you're trying to do, which is why we'd rather start with a conversation than send a rate card.

If your company has something this audience should know about, we'd like to hear what you're working on.

No rate cards until we understand the brief. It's a better use of everyone's time.

None of these stories are mine. They were sent to me by readers of Atomic Habits. My hope is that these examples will illustrate how real people are putting the book into practice. They will show you what people are actually doing to build good habits and break bad ones. And hopefully, they will spark some ideas for how you can do the same.
