Alliance Healthcare buys 55% stake in digital healthcare firm Jaga-Me for $3.5m

Jaga-Me will become a subsidiary of the group.

Alliance Healthcare (AHPL) will purchase a 55% stake of digital healthcare platform Jaga-Me’s enlarged issued share capital for $3.5m, according to a press release.

The transaction will be made through purchasing existing vendor shares and subscribing for new shares in the capital of JagaMe for a cash consideration of $1.5m and $2m, respectively. After completion, Jaga-Me will become a subsidiary of the group.

Jaga-Me’s mobile web application can be used to schedule and pay for clinical services, medical equipment and consumables. Jaga-Me also curates and deploys a network of over 500 licensed healthcare professionals, with the majority of these professionals being registered nurses, complemented by therapists and certified caregivers, the announcement said.

These independent professionals collaborate remotely through Jaga-Me’s platform, which provides access to health data, clinical reports and clinical workflows.
