Acromec wins $7m deal to construct lab for Tan Tock Seng Hospital

It also secured an additional $1.8m for after sales maintenance.

Acromec clinched a controlled environment contract for the fitting-out of a Biosafety Level 3 (BSL3) laboratory of the National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID), expected to be completed by 2Q17. The total contract deal was $7m. National Centre for Infectious Diseases (NCID) is a facility at the Tan Tock Seng Hospital and was launched in 2014.

To date, Acromec’s order book stands at approximately $49m.

Furthermore, the company has offered an ancillary aftersales maintenance and servicing package, totalling approximately $1.8 million, which will be carried out over the duration of five years.

The option is exercisable by the customer before the defects liability period expires one year from completion.

The company believes the maintenance contract will provide it with a recurring income stream which augments its project-based revenue, while its $7m contract is expected to have a positive impact on its EPS in FY2017.
