Sino Grandness Food Industry Group names Lawrence Wong Chee Meng as director

As a solicitor, his areas of practice include corporate and securities laws, capital markets, M&A, corporate restructuring, joint ventures, corporate and commercial contracts, among others.

The Board of Sino Grandness Food Industry Group announced the appointment of Lawrence Wong Chee Meng as independent director.

Mr Wong, 46, will also be chairman of Nominating Committee and member of the Audit and Remuneration Committees, according to a Sino Grandness Food Industry Group report.

From 1999 to 2006, he practiced as an advocate and solicitor as a sole proprietor of Lawrence Wong & Co. From 2006 to 2007, he was a senior manager at Boardroom Corporate and Advisory (formerly known as Lim Associates) where he was performing corporate secretarial and advisory work as well as providing in-house legal support. From 2007 to 2011, Mr Wong was partner of KhattarWong in the Corporate & Securities Law Department. Since 2011, Mr Wong became a founding member and equity partner of RHTLaw Taylor Wessing LLP. Mr Wong is currently the deputy head of Corporate and Securities Practise and also the head of RHT Capital, an approved SGX continuing sponsor.
