The Wok People, Cheers launch first unmanned convenience store

The store operates 24/7 in the UMC Singapore staff cafeteria.

The Wok People and Cheers convenience store launched Cheers’ first unmanned store in partnership with the institutional catering industry.

The store is located in the staff cafeteria of United Microelectronics Corporation’s Singapore branch (UMC Singapore) and will operate 24/7.

“This store is a crucial step in our mission to elevate convenience and provide a unique shopping experience that aligns with the evolving demands of our clients,” said Alfred Chua, Managing Director of The Wok People.

The store started its operation on 3 September 2024.
