Jumbo brings Singaporean flavors into Taiwan

Jumbo Group has opened its first Ng Ah Sio Bak Kut Teh franchise restaurant in Taiwan.

Under a franchise agreement, Ho Sing committed to open at least 20 AH SIO Bak Kut Teh outlets in Taiwan. In December 2017, Ho Sing also brought the first Jumbo Seafood brand into the country.

The first NG AH SIO Bak Kut Teh in Taipei is located in Shin Kong Mitsukoshi (Xin Yi) Mall which is inside the commercial district near Taipei 101. The restaurant will be serving its flavors in its outlet that has a total floor space of 1,400 sq ft alongside a seating capacity of 86 seats.

“The introduction of NG AH SIO Bak Kut Teh to Taiwan marks a key milestone for the Group and is testament to the group’s growing presence in the Asian consumer market,” Jumbo Group CEO and executive director Ang Kiam Meng said.

The brand has four outlets in Singapore which are located at Rangoon Road, Chui Huay Lim Club, The Shoppes at Marina Bay Sands, and Resorts World Sentosa.
