Caffé B Bar unveils Rum Promotions

According to a release, Caffé B Bar launched 1-for-1 Rum Promotion spanning an impressive 62 original, rum-based concoctions ingeniously created by resident mixologist Michael J Kumar.

Running from now till April 2013, this decadent deal will be available from 3pm to 8pm daily. Purchasing one of the select 52 cocktails or 10 shooters entitles customers to an identical order on the house, which is best enjoyed while soaking in the mesmerising Marina Bay skyline.

Cocktails range from $17 to $19, while shooters are priced at $18 each. Seven varieties of the tantalising spirit – Spiced Rum, Light Rum, Coconut Rum, Limon Rum, Gold Rum, Dark Rum and Overproof Rum – have been boldly showcased throughout Michael’s extensive array of enticing tipple.

Spiced Rum cocktails pay homage to Captain Morgan ® Original Spiced, a Puerto Rican variety flavoured with spices and other natural ingredients.

Have the Kew Punch to experience a refreshing and lusciously fruity slice of summer. The perfect accompaniment on a balmy day, the rum is shaken with Gin, Cinzano Rosso, Orange Curacao and Cherry Brandy before being strained into a glass filled with Raspberries, Blueberries and Strawberries.

Light Rum cocktails feature BACARDI® Superior, a colourless, clear and light-bodied spirit that is double filtered through charcoal with a one-year aging process between filters.

Pick the Gold Dust for a deliciously tangy taste of luxury. The rum is carefully mixed with Crème de Cacao, Grapefruit and Lime Juice together with Corn Syrup and Orange Curacao for a subtly tart finish.

Coconut Rum cocktails rope in Malibu® Original, a type of flavoured rum made with natural coconut extract.

Indulge in the Piña Colada for a tropical treat. Since 1978, this light, sweet concoction has been the official beverage of Puerto Rico. The rum is blended with Captain Morgan Original Spiced, Crème de Cacao, Coconut Cream, Orange Cordial and Pineapple Juice to exotic effect.

Limon Rum cocktails are livened up with BACARDI® Limón, a unique blend of BACARDI® rum and natural citrus flavours.

Take a chance on the Sour Kiss for a ravishing surprise. To produce this simple, but sensually sour combination, the rum is mixed with Peach Schnapps, Grapefruit Juice, Syrups and Soda Water.

Gold Rum cocktails cast the spotlight on BACARDI® Gold, a blend of light, distilled rum that has been allowed to rest for up to two years in carefully selected, charred oak barrels.
